Newminiseverns go Cruising

On yet another wet and overcast day in the UK, we decided to do a bit of cruising. Not in the cars but on a boat on Coniston Water. The lake is infamous, because Donald Campbell, died here, whilst attempting to break the World water speed record. His body and boat were recovered only a couple of years ago, when divers started to make a habit of visiting the wreckage on the bottom of the lake.

After a 2 hour cruise around the lake, Chris and i have started our journey home, stopping off in Skipton, for something to eat. The roads around this area seem very familiar, after doing the 'up hill and down dale' and the 'heartbeat' runs earlier in the year.

We've had another fantastic (apart from the weather) and extremely well organised weekend. Thanks to all the guys for their company and a massive thanks and well done to Kevin and Carol for organising it.
