Pub meet

What a hectic week we had last week, including the blog phone going for a swim in my coffee!

So with blog phone MK11 in hand we made our way to the first Herts, Beds and Bucks Pub Meet.. Eek the pub was closed. The last thing we were expecting as we had been there 2 weeks beforehand and there had been no mention of a closure and the pub had only recently been refurbished after a fire which gutted the place. So with a quick reconisance of the area we found the Ramada Hotel just around the Corner from the Pub.

With the night drawing in quickly we waited for the others to arrive (unfortunately a couple of later arrivals missed us and big apologies to those) then made our way to the Bar for a good chat and a few drinks. There was a good attendance of over 10 cars for this, our first meet, with some supberb cars.

Hopefully we can arrange a more permanent meet and i promise i will check with the pub the week before (and the day before) to check if its open.
